01 / Coast & lagoon

Start with the departure point

A Blue Lagoon trip usually means heading toward the Akamas coast. Some options begin at Latchi, while others include a transfer from Paphos. That difference can change how much of your day is spent travelling and how much is spent on the water.

Check where you board and whether hotel pickup is part of the price.
If a swim stop matters to you, check how long it lasts and how you get into and out of the water.
Boat routes and swim stops can change with sea conditions.

02 / Akamas by land

Choose the pace, not just the route

The Akamas area brings together coastline, trails and views toward Polis and Latchi. A jeep or off-road day can cover more ground than a walk, but itineraries differ widely: some are mostly scenic drives, while others involve time on foot or a boat add-on.

Read the stop list and ask how much walking is expected.
Check vehicle type and road conditions if a bumpy journey would be difficult.
For nature stops, follow local access signs and stay on permitted routes.

03 / Culture & villages

Make room for a slower day

Kato Paphos is home to the archaeological park and its mosaics, while the Tombs of the Kings is a separate site. Inland, Troodos villages offer a change of scenery and a chance to explore traditional crafts and food.

For a heritage tour, check whether site entrance fees are included.
Ask about steps, uneven ground and shade if mobility or heat is a concern.
For mountain days, compare travel time with time actually spent in villages.
